GUIDANCE
Besides lecturing I guide staff on managing challenging behavior around specific service-users. It is often concerning service-users in heavily staffed settings with self harming or violent behavior. My focus is the behavior of the staff and how it affects the behavior of the service-user.
Another area of guidance is ethics and securing quality of care and educational institutions, especially focusing on evaluation of method in demand and conflict situations.
A third field is guidance concerning people with autism, Asperger's syndrome, Tourette's syndrome and ADHD based on understanding of the service-user´s cognitive and affective abilities.
I work towards special schools, residential and child services and towards psychiatric care facilities.
